Started in Earlsfield, Paradise Coop is a charity interest organisation committed to curating space for the local community by food growing, social enterprise and education through the great outdoors! I have supported the co-operatives' creative vision for a number of their artisan events. For this summer fair at Dobbins field we created a festival feel to vibe the mix of craft stalls, pop up lunch spots, craft beer and fresh pressed cider stands that mingled between rarebreed pigs, veg and herb beds, an orchard and wild flower meadow. I introduced a theme of denim and neon sourcing second hand fabrics from the ScrapStore to create metres of bright, ruff edged bunting, wood and old doors to make signs, fake grass mats that I fashioned into letters and silk flowers that I wove into an arch. The theme was delivered right through, informing the children's zone and food areas so that the whole event carried the viberant, home made, upcycled ethos of the co-op.
