ORGANIC PIONEER'S HOMELY STUDY
The brief here was to turn a bland church office into a homely yet functional office, study and meeting room for a socially minded curate who helps run a local community farming co-operative, delivering it on a very low budget. Collacting the client's existing artwork then hitting local furniture markets, I sourced vintage furniture and furnishings. 64% of which were second hand and 75% purchased within a 1 mile radius of the office, honouring the client's attitudes towards sustainability and micro economy. I reclaimed and repurposed some existing furnishings and bought some new to complete the room.
