The brief here was to turn a small spare room come junk room into a relaxing and workable family space for making handicrafts and practicing music.  Sorting through the boxes and artefacts I retrieved feature items, crafting materials and suitable storage solutions.

The room was painted in crisp white and a dark petrol turquoise complementing the client’s decoupaged wall mounted shelves.  I sorted materials, homing them visibly and accessibly. I collated craft and lifestyle books and placed family antiques and handicrafts in prominent positions.  I utilised space using clever storage solutions and accessorised using the clients own vintage fabrics for cushions, bunting and blinds.
